AI concepts, explained

What is an AI agent for a small business?

An AI agent is software that does a job on its own, such as answering new leads, triaging email, or prepping meetings. Unlike a chatbot that only replies when you type, an agent follows steps, uses tools like email and calendars, and completes tasks without you watching. WorkSmartHQ blueprints walk owners through building one on no-code platforms, no developers required.

What is an AI playbook?

An AI playbook is a step-by-step guide that shows you exactly how to use AI tools in your daily work. A good one includes copy-ready prompts, a workflow for each task, and a plan for which tasks to automate first. WorkSmartHQ playbooks are industry-specific, written for non-technical owners, and designed to be usable the same day.

What is an AI agent blueprint?

An AI agent blueprint is a construction manual for building your own AI agent with no-code tools. It gives you the architecture, every prompt, the setup checklist, and the test plan. You follow it over a weekend and end up with an agent that runs on your own accounts. You own it outright, with no monthly fee to WorkSmartHQ.

What is an agent blueprint?

A step-by-step construction manual for building your own AI agent with no-code tools. Where a playbook teaches you the workflows, a blueprint shows you how to build software that runs them: the architecture, the prompts, the setup checklist, and the test plan. You build it yourself in a weekend, no coding required, and it runs on your accounts. It is not software and not a done-for-you service.

What is the difference between a playbook, a blueprint, and a spreadsheet tool?

A WorkSmartHQ playbook teaches you workflows and gives you prompts to use with AI tools. A blueprint shows you how to build an AI agent that runs those workflows for you. A spreadsheet tool is a ready-made calculator or tracker that solves one job instantly. Playbooks build skill, blueprints build systems, spreadsheets deliver instant results.

Are WorkSmartHQ products software or services?

Neither. WorkSmartHQ products are digital products: PDF guides and spreadsheet files you download instantly and keep forever. A playbook or blueprint teaches you to build or do something yourself; nothing is installed and there is no done-for-you service in the catalog. Support comes from the person who built the product.

Getting started

I'm new to AI. Will I still be able to use the playbooks?

Yes, easily. The playbooks assume you are starting from zero. They walk you through each workflow step by step, with copy-ready prompts you can use as they are. The agent blueprints are built for non-technical owners too: if you can use email and a spreadsheet, you can build them. No coding required.

Do I need technical skills to use these products?

No. WorkSmartHQ playbooks assume you are starting from zero and walk through each workflow step by step. Agent blueprints are built for non-technical owners: if you can use email and a spreadsheet, you can build the agent over a weekend with no-code tools. No coding is required for any product in the catalog.

Which WorkSmartHQ product should I buy first?

Start with the playbook for your industry if you are new to AI. Buy an agent blueprint when you know which job you want automated and are ready to build it yourself. Buy a spreadsheet tool when you need one specific task solved today. The WorkSmartHQ Small Business AI Playbook covers all three if you want one complete guide.

How fast will I see results from an AI playbook?

Most owners complete their first AI workflow the same day they buy, because the playbooks include copy-ready prompts with no setup required. The realistic timeline is: day one, your first automated task; week one, 3 to 5 workflows running; month one, a measurable reduction in repetitive work. Results with WorkSmartHQ depend on which workflows you pick first.

How much does it cost to run an AI agent after building it?

Usually very little. The agent runs on your existing AI subscriptions (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar), which most owners already pay for, plus any no-code tool plans you choose. There is no per-agent license and no monthly payment to WorkSmartHQ. Compare that to an AI receptionist service at $50 to $200 per month or an agency build starting around $2,500.

Can I use WorkSmartHQ products with ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot?

Yes. WorkSmartHQ playbooks and blueprints are written for the major AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot) and no-code automation platforms, not for one locked-in tool. Prompts are plain text you can paste into whichever assistant you use on day one.

Services

What does the AI Advisor service include?

Five days inside your business: an opportunity audit of where AI can help, quick-win automations installed during the week, and a 90-day AI roadmap. It is a fixed-price, one-time engagement of CA$1,997 with no retainer. It is the done-for-you WorkSmartHQ option for owners who want results without building anything themselves.

What if I need help?

Email richard.paul@worksmarthq.ca and you will hear back from the person who built the product. No ticket queues, no bots.

Industries

Which industries do you cover?

Right now: real estate, mortgage & lending, home services, e-commerce, personal finance, productivity, insurance, healthcare, and fitness & wellness. Coming soon: legal services and financial advisory.

How do realtors use AI in 2026?

According to the NAR 2025 Technology Survey, 46% of realtors use AI-generated content such as listing descriptions, and an Inman-reported survey found 82% of realtors have adopted AI tools. The common uses are listing copy, lead follow-up, social media content, and daily operations. WorkSmartHQ's real estate products cover all four.

Can I ask for a product built for my industry?

Absolutely, and we mean it. Many products on the roadmap started as customer requests. Use the contact page and tell us what would make your work easier.

Buying and downloads

What do I get with my purchase?

A digital download. Playbooks and blueprints arrive as PDF guides and tools arrive as spreadsheet files. There is no physical product and nothing ships in the mail.

How do I get my files?

Instantly. Every product is sold through our Etsy shop, and Etsy gives you the download link right after checkout. You will also find it anytime under your Etsy purchases.

Will the spreadsheets work in Excel or Google Sheets?

They are built as standard .xlsx files and verified in LibreOffice Calc. They should open in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, but we have only tested them in LibreOffice so far.

What if I change my mind after buying?

Since files are delivered instantly, all sales are final. But if anything you bought is broken or not as described, just contact us and we will make it right. That is a promise, not fine print.

Can my team use the files too?

Each purchase is a single-user license, so please do not redistribute the files. If your whole team needs a product, get in touch and we will sort out something fair.

When do new products come out?

New products every week. The catalog is growing fast, across both new industries and deeper tools for the ones we already serve.
